Chat 10 Looks 3 Productions Pty Ltd is committed to the protection of the privacy of our subscribers, customers, website visitors and social media group participants, and to meeting the standards of the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

This policy sets out how and why we collect and handle your personal information. Personal information is any information or an opinion about you.  By providing us with your personal information, you consent to the terms of this privacy policy and the types of use and disclosure covered by this policy, including to any changes and updates to this policy that we may make in future.  We recommend you check back from time to time to review this policy.

On some occasions we may conduct a promotion or other activity which has its own specific privacy policy. In such circumstances, we will provide notice of that policy at the time any personal information is collected and that policy will prevail over this policy in respect of that promotion or activity.

Why we collect personal information

Generally, we collect personal information reasonably required for the purposes of promoting and providing you with access to our products, services and events, and to manage our relationship with you. We also collect personal information that is reasonably required for marketing purposes and to provide you with information about the products, services and events of other organisations that may be of interest to you. We may also collect additional information at other times, including when you provide feedback, when you provide information about your personal, content or email preferences, respond to surveys and/or promotions, or communicate with our subscriber support, and when you interact with us.

As required by the APPs, we do not collect or use Commonwealth Government identifiers when interacting with you.

How we collect personal information

We collect personal information from you in a variety of ways, including when you interact with us online or in person, when you access our website and social media platforms, and when you purchase our products and services, and attend our events.

We also collect personal information about you from third parties who provide services to us or on our behalf, such as from our payment processing providers and ticket agents when you purchase our products and services or attend our events.

Use of personal information

We may use personal information collected about you to provide you with information, updates and access to our products, services and events. We may also make you aware of new and additional products, services, events and opportunities available to you, whether provided by us or other organisations. We may use your personal information to improve our products, services and events, and to better understand your needs.

We may also use your personal information to protect our legal interests, including copyright, trademarks, and other legal rights and property, and for our own safety and the safety of our subscribers, customers, website visitors and social media group participants or any other person.

We may contact you by a variety of measures including, but not limited to telephone, email, SMS or mail. If you do not wish to be contacted by any of these means for these purposes, you may opt out from receiving such communications by contacting admin@chat10looks3.com.  

If we are unable to collect personal information we reasonably require, we may not be able to provide you with access to our products, services and events.

We may also collect anonymous information through the use of cookies on our website. Cookies are non-malicious pieces of information that are stored on your computer’s hard disk. Most web-browsers are set to accept cookies but you can set your web-browser to refuse cookies. Cookies themselves do not identify users personally but they do allow the tracking of an individual’s use of a website. You can configure your web browser to reject or accept cookies. If you reject cookies you may not be able to interact with us online.

Disclosure of personal information 

We may disclose your personal information to any of our professional advisers, agents, insurers, service providers, suppliers or subcontractors as may reasonably be necessary for the purposes set out in this policy.

We may from time to time need to disclose personal information to comply with a legal requirement, such as a law, regulation, court order, subpoena or warrant in the course of legal proceedings or in response to a law enforcement agency request.

We may from time to time share your information with third parties to enable them to provide you with offers of products and services that we think would be of interest to you. This may also result in your information being transferred to countries outside Australia. You may opt out of having your contact details shared in this manner by contacting admin@chat10looks3.com.

Where we disclose your personal information to third parties we will request that the third party follow this privacy policy regarding handling your personal information.

We may also disclose information that has been aggregated or that does not otherwise personally identify you to organisations who may use that information for analytics, trends and analysis and to improve and provide you with access to products, services and events.

Overseas transfers

Personal information that we collect about you may from time to time may be stored, processed in or transferred between parties located in countries outside of Australia, in which case we will endeavour to ensure that such overseas recipients protect your personal information in accordance with the equivalent standards of Australian privacy law, including by abiding by the terms of this privacy policy.

Security

Your personal information may be stored in secure computer storage facilities and in paper-based files and other records. We take reasonable precautions to ensure that your personal information is protected from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

If we no longer need your personal information, we will take reasonable steps to de-identify your personal information, unless we are required under Australian law, or a court or tribunal orders us, to retain that personal information.

Openness, access and correction

You generally have the right to access your personal information and we will provide you with a copy of any personal information we hold on request. We may need to charge you an administrative fee for retrieving your personal information, in which case we will inform you in advance of providing the personal information.

The Privacy Act sets out some circumstances in which we are not required to provide you with access to your personal information.  If you ask for your personal information and any of these circumstances apply, we will, if reasonable, agree with you on an alternative approach which may allow sufficient access to your personal information to meet your needs, but we otherwise reserve the right to refuse to provide you with any such information that we hold about you in such circumstances.

Data quality

We take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we collect, use and disclose is accurate, up-to-date, complete, relevant and not misleading.
